I was so pleased with my Ruffled and Ruched scarf that I decided to make one for myself.
Here's my first one and I'm about halfway through the second. This is a really quick knit and would be a great project for some stash yarn:
The blue yarn is a provisional cast on at the center of the scarf. After you finish one side you then start knitting the second side from the middle.
That's it for now fellow knitters! Check out Andrea's blog to see what others are up to this week.
I love Diane Soucy's patterns - great basics that are always good to have at the ready. Pretty scarf, too!
ReplyDeleteThe scarves are lovely! The baby sweater is so cute:)
ReplyDeleteI love your purple scarf! I'm off to check it out on Ravelry! :)
ReplyDeleteKeeping-up with grandkids is a pretty good reason to not be knitting. :-D Glad you are finding a few moments to spend on your projects, though.
ReplyDeleteLove that scarf pattern, very stylish. Your baby cardigan is very sweet too :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the colors on all three projects. The baby sweater is so charming - looks so soft and snugly.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Both of em! I keep thinking about that ruffled scarf, but I just don't do scarves. Too bad, it's darling.
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable baby cardigan :) I really like the ruched scarf, but have not had luck with a provisional cast on yet.
ReplyDeleteOh I suppose we can let you off the hook for purposes of grandchildren spoiling. The construction of that scarf looks really neat, it is also fun to see a finished one and one in progress next to each other. The flower looks like fun to knit too, I've never tried to make one of those.
ReplyDeletewhat great knits!!! grandchildren come first, of course!!!!
ReplyDeleteAll all such pretty projects. That ruffled touché looks very feminine and Jane Austinis.
ReplyDeleteThe second cowl with a prov. cast on is similar to one I am knitting...the Leafy Wreath
Cowl.
I love that cowl and the cardi. Family is always more important than knitting.
ReplyDeleteCute little cardi! I love the ruffled scarves, they are really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOoo, that ruffled scarf is beautifully knit and one of my favorite colors. Such a sweet little sweater, it looks quite soft and snuggly. The beads and yarn that I'm knitting with right now came in a kit so I cannot take credit. My daughter and her husband flew out to San Francisco to do some winery "research" for the restaurant where he is Executive Chef. While out there she visited a couple yarn shops and bought that kit for me. She's a good child :)
